Emerging in 2023 from Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Hot Commodities is the ongoing musical project of award-winning vocalist Jolynn Alemán and the hustling, handsome guitarist Tyler de Caussin, often including additional companions and collaborators. Rooted in a mutual affection for vintage American pop, the band delights audiences with a dense mix of forgotten and revered melodies, refashioning the spirit and heart of revered melodies into a fresh, modern settings. The Hot Commodities blends pop, jazz, blues, swing, soul and singer-songwriter into a genre-defying sound.
